Kerry Butler Goes On Contract As 'Claudia' On ABC's 'One Life To Live'

Kerry Butler, known on Broadway for such roles as Penny Pingleton (Hairspray), Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Belle (Disney's Beauty and the Beast) and Eponine (Les Miserables) has been signed to a contract role on ABC's "One Life To Live."

Her character, "Claudia Reston," has appeared twice this past week on the daytime drama and has already garnered fans on various message boards such as SoapZone.com, SoapNet.com and SoapCentral.com who are excited about her storyline involving characters Jessica/Tess and Nash.

Ms. Butler told BroadwayWorld.com "I am really excited for this opportunity to be a part of One Life To Live. It's a great part and a new challenge. It also allows me to remain in New York and work in theater which I will always love."

Kerry is also scheduled to join fellow ABC Daytime stars on February 6th for "ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS"

In addition to appearing on Broadway, Film and TV, Kerry has appeared off-Broadway in the cult hit, Bat Boy: The Musical, Miracle Brothers and the Broadway bound The Opposite Of Sex.
