Kern, Creek, et. al Join London's HAIR Tribe

Broadway veterans Kevin Kern, Luther Creek, Crystal Joy and Phyre Hawkins have officially joined London's HAIR Tribe, which is set to begin performances at the Gielgud Theatre on April 1st. The join most of the original Broadway cast, which is making the transfer. A new Tribe opened on Broadway in early March.

Kevin Kern has been seen on Broadway in Wicked, The Wedding Singer and Les Misérables and Off-Broadway in Next to Normal, Altar Boyz and Finian's Rainbow. Regional credits include Grease and Les Misérables.

Luther Creek appeared in the Encores! Concert production of HAIR in 2001 as Claude. His Broadway credits include, Rent, Footloose and Bobby Strong in Urinetown.

Crystal Joy was recently on the National Tour of Legally Blonde has Elle's sorority sister Pilar. Phyre Hawkins appeared in the national tour of The Color Purple and in the Las Vegas production of Avenue Q.

Most of the original Broadway cast will be making the transfer to the London stage.

A celebration of life, love and freedom, and a passionate cry for hope and change, HAIR features some of the greatest songs ever written for the stage, including ‘Let The Sun Shine In', ‘I Got Life', ‘Hair' and ‘Aquarius'.

Choreographed by Karole Armitage, HAIR features a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot. The creative team also includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Michael McDonald (costume design), Kevin Adams (lighting design) and Acme Sound Partners (sound design).
