The York Theatre Company will continue with the series John Kenrick's Musical Conversations, the acclaimed discussion series at the York, with internationally recognized musical theatre and film authority John Kenrick, following matinee performances of That Time of Year.

The schedule of upcoming discussions follows:

December 2nd: "Florenz Ziegfeld: Master Showman"
December 9th: "Irving Berlin: American Legend"
December 16th: Noel Coward: Happy 107th!
December 23rd: Al Jolson's The World's Greatest

Admission is $10 or $5 with a ticket to That Time of the Year.

That Time of the Year is an all-new musical revue of original songs highlighting the joys and anxieties of the holiday season. With concept and lyrics by the 2006 Kleban Award-winning team of Laurence Holzman and Felicia Needleman and music by Sanford Marc Cohen, Nicholas Levin, Donald Oliver, Kyle Rosen, Brad Ross, Mark Wherry and Wendy Wilf,  the revue "celebrates both Christmas and Hanukkah with warmth, humor and an eclectic musical style.  Music runs the gamut from show tunes to rock, blues and jazz and the songs range from upbeat group numbers, which convey the angst and stress associated with the season, to touching ballads about family and the meaning behind the festivals.  The show is the perfect holiday treat – with none of the calories!," state York notes.

Annette Jolles directs and choreographs a cast that features Bridget Beirne (Floyd Collins, The Wild Party, Speakeasy Theatre), Kerri Jill Garbis (Goodspeed's Caraboo, Princess of Javasu; national tour of Singin' in the Rain), Erin Maguire (Forbidden Broadway SVU , Flight of the Lawnchair Man), Jonathan Rayson (Little Shop of Horrors, A Year With Frog and Toad) and Nick Verina (Miss Liberty , York Theatre Company).  The creative team also includes Annie Pasqua as orchestrator/musical director, James Morgan as set designer, Chris Robinson as lighting designer and Terese Wadden as costume designer.

This is a limited engagement beginning November 29th and continuing through December 24th.  Tickets for all performances are $49, with Student tickets for only $20 with ID at the box office. Performances are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings at 8PM; Saturdays at 2:30 and 8PM; Sundays at 2:30 and 7PM.  All performances are at the York Theatre Company, Theatre at St. Peters, 54th Street, just East of Lexington Avenue.
