Broadway mainstay Kelli O'Hara is set to make a guest appearance on CBS's BLUE BLOODS.
TV Line reports that the actress will play Lisa, a friend of Bridget Moynahan's Erin, whose perfect marriage is not all that it appears to be.
In addition to Moynahan, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Len Cariou, Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes and Andrea Roth. The show follows a group of New York City cops, with Selleck as the chief of police. His children, played by Wahlberg, Estes and Moynihan are all involved in the New York legal system, either as members of the police force or employees in the DA's office.
Kelli O'Hara has unequivocally established herself as one of Broadway's outstanding leading ladies. She garnered her third Tony Award nomination for her portrayal of Nellie Forbush in the Tony Award-winning revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "South Pacific" at the Lincoln Center Theater.
Aside from her illustrious theater career, Kelli has traveled the country and performed solo, as well as with other famous singers, conductors, and orchestras. Her recent performances include: The Seattle Symphony with Marvin Hamlisch, Boston Pop's Tour in Florida under the direction of Keith Lockhart, and Avery Fisher Hall with Nathan Gunn and the New York Philharmonic. O'Hara is currently touring with Jason Danieley.
O'Hara's episode will air as the show's season premiere episode: September 23rd at 10 PM.
