Keenan-Bolger, Foa, Etc. to Honor Sapp in 5/7 Benefit

The late Molly Sapp, life partner of noted vocal coach Melody Racine, will be honored in a special evening featuring performances by are graduates of the prestigious University of Michigan School of Music.  Sapp passed away last February after battling lymphoma for seven years.

Featured performers include Katie Basile (Spelling Bee, soon joining The Little Mermaid), Christy Faber (Les Miserables),
Barrett Foa (Avenue Q), Alex Gemignani (Assassins, Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables), Celia Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee, Les Miserables), Grammy winner Jeremy Kittel, and more. The show features Musical Direction by Grant Wenaus,with Steven McGhee and Charity Wicks at the piano. Many of Melody's former students will be participating in this benefit, and all proceeds going to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. 

The tribute will take place Monday, May 7 at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street), tickets are $20 plus 2 Drink Minimum. Doors are at 9PM, and the show stars at 9:30PM. Reservations are recommended, and available at
