Katie Ladner to Perform Rachel Kunstadt's LIFE DAY: A MUSICAL MEMOIR

Katie Ladner, currently appearing in Sunset Boulevard on Broadway, will perform Life Day: A Musical Memoir, written by Rachel Kunstadt about her experience with mental illness. The solo show follows her adolescent journey with panic disorder and agoraphobia, coming out, and choosing life.

The one night only performance will play The Duplex on Monday, March 27th at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased atwww.purplepass.com/lifeday327. There is a 2 drink minimum.

Life Day is directed by Blayze Teicher with music direction by Julianne B. Merrill.

Rachel Kunstadt is a librettist, lyricist, playwright, and producer based in New York City. She holds an MFA from NYU Tisch's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and a BA from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and she has studied lyric writing at the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Rachel is the artistic director of LezCab, a non-profit theatre company for queer women.

Katie Ladner is currently making her Broadway debut in Sunset Boulevard. Off-Broadway, she has appeared in Heathers and Gigantic, and regionally in the original companies of Freaky Friday and Be More Chill.

Blayze Teicher is a New York based director and producer with a passion for new work. Born in New York and raised in Orlando, Fl, she is a proud graduate of Florida State University with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Theatre.

Originally from Indianapolis, Julianne B. Merrill currently works in NYC as a professional Music Director and Pianist for Musical Theater.

The Duplex is located at 61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue in Manhattan.
