Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett & More to Return for Next Season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY; More Details Revealed

Yesterday, BWW reported that American Horror Story showrunner Ryan Murphy shared a picture on Twitter revealing that the subtitle of the fourth season of the FX anthology American Horror Story will be 'Freak Show.'

Today, Entertainment Weekly has shared further details about the highly anticipated season. Set in Jupiter, Florida, in 1950, Freak Show will feature AHS alum Jessica Lange portraying "a German ex-pat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the U.S."

Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, and Frances Conroy will all appear as performers rescued by Lange's character.

In addition, the site reports that Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare and Emma Roberts are currently in talks to return for the 13-epiosde season, set to air this October on FX.
