Kate Pazakis & More Set for BROADWAY SESSIONS Tonight

Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club TC l4 " every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (Rent) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.

Tonight, October 3rd 2011 the weekly show (now in it's 3rd year) welcomes Kate Pazakis, Christopher T. Magician and more.

Kate Pazakis was most recently featured in the national tour of South Pacific. Other credits include Jerry Springer: The Opera, Newsical, and The Sexless Years. Kate is currently developing her new show, My Life as a Gaylebrity. Her album, "Unzipped: Live at The Zipper", is available on PS Classics.

Just Like Magic, starring Christopher T. Magician is currently playing at the TBG theater as part of NYMF. The shows features a score by Ryan Mercy and book/lyrics by Christopher Barnes.
Also scheduled to perform are Lyle Colby Mackston (Papermill ‘Spelling Bee', devoloping the roleof Young Michael in Brian Yorkey and Sting's new musical) and Kennedy Kanagawa (Fringe "Hatching")

Open Mic party goes til 2 am featuring Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:40 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is NO cover charge.
