Karina Smirnoff Announces Engagement to Brad Penny

According to People Magazine, Broadway vet Karina Smirnoff, who starred in BURN THE FLOOR, is now engaged to St. Louis Cardinals' pitcher Brad Penny.

Smirnoff is also one of the professional dancers on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

Previously, Smirnoff was engaged to fellow BURN THE FLOOR cast member Maksim Chmerkovisky, another alumnus from "Dancing with the Stars."

According to People Magazine, Smirnoff and Penny have been engaged since Oct. 4.

"We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad's family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag," she said to the magazine.
