Beginning performances Tuesday, November 1 Kara Lindsay will return to the role of Glinda in the Broadway production of WICKED.
Kara Lindsay previously performed the role of Glinda in the 2015 Broadway company and national tour of Wicked. She appeared in the original Broadway cast of Newsies as Katherine and in the national tour and Guthrie Theatre productions of Little House on the Prairie as Laura. Regional credits include Paper Mill Playhouse (Newsies, Little House...Prairie); North Carolina Theatre (title role inMary Poppins); Kansas City Starlight (title role in Cinderella); Kansas City Rep (Sally Bowles in Cabaret); 5th Avenue Theatre (Lone Star Love); and Geva Theater (A Christmas Carol), among others.
Also on November 1, as previously announced, Sheryl Lee Ralph will assume the role of Madame Morrible. Kara and Sheryl join a cast which currently includes Jennifer DiNoia as Elphaba, Michael Campayno as Fiyero, Peter Scolari as The Wizard, Dawn E. Cantwell as Nessarose, Michael Genet as Dr. Dillamond, and Zachary Noah Piser as Boq. The role of Glinda is currently being played by Carrie St. Louis, who will give her final performance on Broadway on Sunday, October 30th, as will Judy Kaye as Madame Morrible.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. Wicked is produced by Marc Platt, Universal Stage Productions, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone.
