Kacie Shiek, Kristy Cates, et al. to Star in CLASS REUNION Reading Today

CLASS REUNION, the new musical created by Phil Benson with Music and Lyrics by Dani B. Tapper and Book by Holly-Anne Ruggiero (Jersey Boys) will be presented in a industry reading today, November 18th at Ripley Grier Studios in New York City.

The Industry Reading will feature the talents of Broadway performers Kristy Cates (Wicked), Kacie Shiek (Hair), Miles Aubrey (Jersey Boys), Erica Rowlett Aubrey, Liz Byrne (Baby It's You), Kelly Francis (You're The One That I Want - Reality Show), Jamie Wax, Bradley Gale, JamaAl Wilson, Faryl Amadeus and is directed by Ruggiero. Liz Muller serves as the Production Stage Manager.

Class Reunion follows the journey of six high school friends from their final days at Jefferson High School in 1968, through their 20th, 30th and 40th Reunions. Over time, their lives intertwine in interesting ways as old feelings, hilarious secrets and tough realities are brought to the forefront.

Kristy Cates was a member of the Original Broadway Cast of Wicked and understudy to the lead role of Elphaba, played by Idina Menzel. Cates went on to play Elphaba in the Chicago and first National Tour productions of Wicked.?Currently Kristy is on tour with the Off Broadway hit, Wine Lovers, the wine tasting musical.

Kacie Shiek recently finished the National Tour of Hair in the role of Jeanie after being with the company in Central Park and as part of the Tony Award Winning Broadway company.
