Just Off Broadway, Inc., and the New Windsor Playhouse announced today that they will present their First Annual Holiday Concert Benefit "A Celebration in Song" on Saturday, December 18 at 7PM and Sunday, December 19 at 3PM, at the Aquinas Hall Theatre on the campus of Mount Saint Mary's College, 330 Powell Avenue in Newburgh.
This 90-minute concert, featuring Broadway talent and performers from the Orange County area, kicks off the Capital Building Campaign for the New Windsor Playhouse, formerly known as Mandel's Grand Street Theatre.
The show is directed and choregraphed by the Hudson Valley's own Joyce A. Presutti, Executive Artistic Director of Just Off Broadway, Inc.
Scheduled to appear in this celebration of holiday songs from Broadway shows are:
Ed Romanoff (Hairspray, Gossip Girl, Rescue Me), Raissa Katona-Bennett (Phantom of the Opera, Chess, Parade), Christine Toy-Johnson (Music Man, Flower Drum Song, Law & Order, Ugly Betty), James Brennan (Me & My Girl, Crazy For You, 42nd Street), Charles Abbott (Cabaret, The Grand Tour), John-Charles Kelly (A Christmas Carol, A Light in the Piazza), Terita Redd (Hairspray, Rent), Bruce Johnson (Sunset Boulevard). Joining them is the Just Off Broadway Theatre Ensemble, featuring audience favorites Mary Ellen Nelli-gar, Nick Karnavezos, Jim Pillmeier, Nick Butler, and an exciting company of talented lo-cal children.
