Caribbean Night Series: Smax Music Thursday, June 1 @ 10:30pm $16 The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street) The Music Series will be doing an introduction June 1st performance of Smax with a Caribbean Night Performance to follow in August. The Smax Music sound is described as a mix of Caribbean Music that serves multiple purposes for the listener. His album and live experience soothes the soul, inspires peace of mind, keeps the body moving and calms the spirit simultaneously. Music is the tool Smax Music uses to convey the Enjoy Life message, an uplifting experience every time. Long Story Long Monday, June 5 @ 8pm $10 UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place) Long Story Long is the only storytelling show created to let the audience get to know the performers a little better. Writers, comedians and public radio personalities have 30 minutes to share longform personal stories. They allow the listener along with them on their journey.

The Adam Wade Show Featuring Moth StorySLAM Champion, Adam Wade Tuesday, June 6 @ 7pm $10 The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street) Adam Wade (Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer, NPR regular), a staggering 20-time Moth Story Slam winner, has put together many of his winning heartfelt and humorous stories for this special monthly show. All they need is a space. The Paper Kraine is committed to creating a venue for early-career artists to show humor-focused work in the spirit of adventurous discovery. We encourage risk-taking, question asking, and the development of a supportive community of artists seeing, encouraging, and challenging each other's work with the ultimate goal of enriching the artistic community through cross-pollination and meeting new people. FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade is a theater development group with a focus on new work that produces a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater every season. FRIGID's Resident Artist Program offers a home to a select group of Independent theater artists, pooling together a great deal of talent and energy. FRIGID New York grew out of the annual FRIGID Festival, the first and only festival of its kind in New York City to offer artists 100% of their box office proceeds, and Horse Trade Theater Group, a self-sustaining theater development and management group.
