Make a Statue of Liberty headband to celebrate Franco-American relations; then test your knowledge of Lady Liberty by playing the "did you know" game. Did you know that Lady Liberty's sandals are 25 feet long and her shoe size would be 879!

Dawn Daniels present an evening of traditional Irish music and dance and kids can try a few steps of their own.

The Puppet Project -
A performance about disabilities.
Puppets teach what it's like to be blind, deaf, mentally retarded,
to have cerebral palsy, a learning disability and also what it is like to be bullied.
Starting at 3 p.m. in Portia's Playyhouse.

While at the Museum, families can visit hands-on, fabulous interactive exhibits: Block Harbor, The Big Game, Bugs and Other Insects, Great Explorations, Portia's Playhouse, Sea of Boats, Ladder 11, D.B.'s Fantastic Machines & House About It! and more! Museum Hours are noon - 5 p.m. when NYCity public schools are open and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. when NYCity public schools are closed (including weekends). Admission is $6 per person; children under 1 and members are admitted free. Every day, join Animal Time when youngsters can assist our educators in caring for our birds, bugs, fish and guinea pig. Telling tales out of school is okay everyday when visitors hear stories from around the world. Grandparents are admitted free on Wednesdays. The SI Children's Museum is located at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, 1000 Richmond Terrace, just minutes away from the Clove Road exit off the Staten Island Expressway.
