Julie White Returns to 'Transformers 3;' 2011 Release Expected

Tony Award-winner Julie White is set to return to the big screen in Transformers 3, the latest installment in the Transformers franchise according to Variety.

Variety states that White will reprise her role as Judy Witwicky alongside her on-screen husband Kevin Dunn, who is also set to return for Transformers 3. White and Dunn will join fellow Transformers vets Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox for the film.

Michael Bay recently talked about production details of the film on his official website, stating that the movie will shoot on Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., Texas, Moscow and China. Bay also stated that shooting pre-shoots will begin next month.

Variety reports that Steven Speilberg is executive producing the film which is set to open July 1, 2011.

Julie White received the Tony Award for Best Actress for her performance in The Little Dog Laughed. She also received an Obie Award and nominations from the Drama Desk, Lucille LortelAwards, Outer Critics Circle and the Drama League for this performance. She recently starred on stage in From Up Here (Drama Desk, Drama League nominations) at Manhattan Theatre Club. Her other New York stage appearances include Fiction at The Roundabout, The Heidi Chronicles, Dinner With Friends, Barbra's Wedding and also Bad Dates, Spike Heels, and The Family of Man all by Theresa Rebeck. Television credits include "Cavemen," guest starring as Mitzi Dalton Huntley on HBO's "Six Feet Under," a series regular on "Grace Under Fire," "The Heidi Chronicles," "Law And Order," "Law And Order: SVU," "Whoopi," "Ally McBeal," "Strong Medicine," "Touched By An Angel" and "Arli$." Film credits include the upcoming Transformers 2, The Astronaut Farmer, Michael Clayton, The Nanny Diaries, Transformers, War Of The Worlds, Slap Her, She's French, Breaking Upwards and Sunday on the Rocks.
