Julie Halston will be Mistress of Ceremonies at T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre's 2016 Spring Benefit and Performance Monday, May 23, 2016, which will span the Studio/Theatre at 151 West 26th Street and the nearby rooftop bar of Rare View Chelsea, 152 W 26th Street.

The evening begins with a special performance of "Harper Regan" (http://www.jsnyc.com/season/harper.htm) at 6:30 PM. This bittersweet drama, written by 2015 TONY winner Simon Stephens, has been directed by Terry Schreiber. It opened May 7 at the Studio/Theatre and in its first review, was deemed "a beautifully mounted, skillfully directed and brilliantly acted production" by Theatre Pizzazz (Beatrice Williams-Rude). It's a fictional story of a working wife and mother who faces disquieting truths when she leaves her job and family in Uxbridge while her father is dying in Manchester. Playwright Simon Stephens won the 2015 TONY Award for Best Play for "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time."

The performance will be followed by a rooftop party across the street at Rare View Chelsea, 152 W 26th Street. Festivities will be led by actress/comedienne Julie Halston, a former student of Terry Schreiber. Guests will sip cocktails with T. Schreiber Studio alumna Julia Udine, who is currently starring as Christine in Broadway's "Phantom of the Opera," and swing with the music of "Rat Packers" Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin as they are performed by award winning Tribute Artists Joe Perce and Jesse Posa.

Tickets are $275 (general admission), $300 (with VIP reserved seating for the show) and $350 (includes VIP reserved seating plus two reserved seats for the first show of next season, "The Motherf**ker with the Hat" by Stephen Adly Guirgis).
