Julie Gold is a New York City songwriter best known for Bette Midler's version of her song From A Distance, which won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year in 1991. She has also written songs for Patti LaBelle, Patti LuPone (who used Gold's song Heaven as her grand finale in her one woman show on Broadway), Kathy Mattea, The Byrds, Judy Collins, James Galway, Lea Salonga, Cliff Richard, Frances Black and many others. Nanci Griffith (the first to record From A Distance) has also recorded Gold's songs Heaven, Southbound Train and Good Night, New York that Griffith performed on the first anniversary of September 11th on the David Letterman Show. Gold's song, Mountain of Sorrow, is featured on Griffith's latest release: Hearts in Mind. Julie appeared with Nanci on Austin City Limits and TNN's American Music Shop. Other TV credits include NBC's Emmy-nominated image spot, We're 4 New York, and two award-winning HBO Holiday Spots: Try Love and One Voice, One Heart. The motion picture Andre features Gold's song, Thanks to You. The motion picture Unfaithful, starring Richard Gere, featured Gold's song Dream Loud, which has been adopted by several divisions of the Girl Scouts of America as their theme song. Gold is on the Board of Governors for NARAS and regularly gives motivational speeches around the country. She has also taught songwriting at BaruchCollege and The New School. Currently, she is celebrating the release of her newest CD, The Girl I Found, produced by Emily Bindinger.

Ann Hampton Callaway is highly regarded for her Tony-nominated performance in the hit Broadway musical, Swing! and for her witty writing and singing of the theme to the hit TV series, The Nanny. Throughout the years, Callaway has built a devoted fan base that includes numerous celebrated musicians like Barbra Streisand, who has recorded several of Ann's songs, including "I've Dreamed of You," which Streisand sang to James Brolin at their wedding and loved so much she included it on three recent CD's: A Love Like Ours, Timeless and Essential Barbra. Originally from Chicago, Ann is the daughter of the esteemed voice teacher and singer, Shirley Callaway and legendary Chicago television journalist, John Callaway. Her sister Liz is one of the most prominent singer-actresses on Broadway. Since coming to New York, Ann has recorded over 40 CD's as a soloist and guest artist combined. As one of the leading interpreters of the Great American Songbook, Callaway was the first person granted permission by Cole Porter's estate to write music for a previously unrecorded Porter lyric, "I Gaze In Your Eyes." The renaissance woman has recently made her screen debut playing Mrs. White in the upcoming independent film, Sky King, and is preparing to host a new TV series, soon to be announced. The Chicago Tribune touts Ann Hampton Callaway as "the best equipped jazz vocalist swinging today" while The New York Times declares that "no contemporary singer matches Ms. Callaway." With the release of her latest album, Slow, Ann Hampton Callaway further asserts herself as an exciting talent who stands in a class by herself.
