Julie Andrews & Anne Hathaway to Guest on GLEE in 2011?

The UK Daily Express reports that Dame Julie Andrews will likely make a guest appearance on GLEE as Kurt's grandmother, alongside none other than The Princess Diaries co-star Anne Hathaway, who has reportedly been tapped to play Kurt's aunt.

According to the report: "The Oscar-winning star of Sixties classics Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music will appear early in the New Year as the grandmother of gay student Kurt Hummel, played by Chris Colfer. Producers of Glee hope she will become a regular on the series.
Julie, 75, could be joined by her Princess Diaries co-star Anne Hathaway, 28, who has been offered the role of Kurt's aunt."

Dame Julie has captivated audiences throughout her legendary career, from her stage performances in THE BOY FRIEND, MY FAIR LADY, and CAMELOT, to unforgettable roles in "Mary Poppins" and "The Sound of Music" right through to her most recent projects, "The Princess Diaries," the Shrek films and "Eloise at the Plaza." Her latest films, "Tooth Fairy" and the animated "Despicable Me," was recently released.

Anne Hathaway's film credits include 'The Princess Diaries,' 'Brokeback Mountain,' 'The Devil Wears Prada,' 'Becoming Jane,' 'Alice in Wonderland,' and 'Rachel Getting Married,' for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. Hathaway played Viola in Shakespeare in the Park's 2009 production of TWELFTH NIGHT. She also appeared as Lili in CARNIVAL! at Encores. She is currently starring in 'Love and Other Drugs.'
