Judy Blazer, Brent Barrett, Adam Guettel, Mary Test and More Sing for Artist's Crossing June 13

A host of Broadway stars will perform in an evening to support the innovative new theatre company and school, THE ARTIST'S CROSSING on Monday, June 13th, 2005 at the Union Theological Seminary on 3041 Broadway at 121st Street, New York, NY 10027.

Performers include Brent Barrett (CHICAGO), Harolyn Blackwell (CANDIDE), Judith Blazer (TITANIC), Maureen Brennan (CANDIDE), David Burnham (THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA), Diane Ciesla (LOST IN YONKERS), Lovette George (MARIE CHRISTINE), Ricky Ian Gordon (BRIGHT EYED JOY), Adam Guettel (THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA), Sean Martin Hingston (CONTACT), Daniel Reichard (RADIANT BABY), Sarah Rice (SWEENEY TODD), Mary Testa (42nd STREET) and Barbara Walsh (HAIRSPRAY). Featuring the work of Ricky Ian Gordon, Richard Greenberg (TAKE ME OUT), Adam Guettel and Joseph Thalken (HAROLD AND MAUDE), who will also serve as the evening's musical director. Special guest performances by Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, violinist and Lee Tannen, author of I LOVED LUCY.

Founded by Judith Blazer (Artistic Director), Joseph Bates (Producer/Education Director) and Landon Scott Heimbach (Executive Director), THE ARTISTS CROSSING is dedicated to promoting, cultivating and fostering young talent by bringing together a diverse group of seasoned artists to mentor and guide them through workshops, the creation of new works and productions of existing repertoire.

The company's first Summer Intensive was held at The Human Race Theatre in Dayton, Ohio. This season 30 young artists will be selected to join them and complete the 2nd annual company. Applications are currently being accepted for the July 15th - 24th intensive. Proceeds from this evening will help fund the intensive and support these up and coming artists.

Ticket Information

Tickets are priced at $100, which includes a champagne reception at 6:30pm. A limited number of concert only tickets are available for $50. To reserve tickets call 212-561-0366.
