According to Deadline.com, stage and screen star Judith Light is set to star in ABC's 'Other People's Kids' pilot. The show will be written by Hunter Covington and directed by Michael Fresco.
As described by Deadline, the show 'centers on Adam (Jesse Bradford), a 32-year-old guy with no responsibilities who suddenly finds himself with an insta-family when he falls in love with an older woman, Michelle (Bonnie Sommerville) who has two kids, an ex-husband, and ex-in-laws.' Light will play the eccentric ex-mother-in-law of Michelle.
Light is currenty starring on Broadwy opposite Dan Lauria in LOMBARDI. She also starred in Broadway's A DOLL'S HOUSE in 1975. Her television roles include Karen Wolek on the soap opera One Life to Live, Angela Bower on the sitcom Who's the Boss?, Claire Meade on ABC's TV series Ugly Betty and Judge Elizabeth (Liz) Donnelly on Law & Order Special Victims Unit.
