Jon Lovtiz to Headline Raue Center for the Arts

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome Jon Lovitz for a night of comedy at 8 p.m. on April 8, 2017. Lovitz, who is best known for his Emmy-nominated run as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live," has enjoyed a successful career in film, TV and stage for over 30 years.

An accomplished comedian, actor and singer, Lovitz began his career as a member of the iconic improv and sketch comedy group, The Groundlings. Lovitz found his big break in 1985, when he was invited to join the cast of "Saturday Night Live." He received two Emmy nominations for his work on "Saturday Night Live," which included memorable characters such as Hanukkah Harry, Tommy Flanagan of Pathological Liars Anonymous, Master Thespian and The Devil.

Lovitz has found continued success creating memorable film and TV roles. He has appeared on popular shows including "The Simpsons," "New Girl," "Hawaii Five-O," "The Critic," "Seinfeld," "Friends" and "Two and a Half Men." Lovitz has also appeared in over 30 films, including "Big," "A League of Their Own," "City Slickers" and "The Wedding Singer."

Lovitz has also found success outside of acting, including his recent appearance as a contestant on the current season of NBC's "The New Celebrity Apprentice" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Lovitz is also in demand as a stand-up comedian, headlining popular Comedy Clubs and venues across the country. He is currently performing the 90-minute show "Reunited" with "SNL" alum Dana Carvey in Las Vegas at the Foundry.
