Broadway's John Lloyd Young confirmed today on his official Facebook page that he has joined the cast of Clint Eastwood's film adaptation of Jersey Boys in the role of legendary singer Frankie Valli.
"JLY is delighted to have been chosen to star as 'Frankie Valli' in Clint Eastwood's film Jersey Boys.," read the post. "Production has started and JLY couldn't be more excited to be involved with this very special project."
Joining Young in the cast are Erich Bergen as Bob Gaudio, Christopher Walken as Gyp DeCarlo, Mike Doyle as Bob Crew, Joey Russo Joe Pesci, Erica Piccininni as Lorraine, Donnie Kehr as Norm Waxman, Jeremy Luke as Donnie and Johnny Cannizzaro as Nick DeVito, and Kathrine Narducci as Mary Rinaldi. John Lloyd Young stars in Jersey Boys on Broadway and has also appeared in off-Broadway productions of The Summer of the Swans and Sarah, Plain and Tall. He won Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World awards for his creation of the role on stage.Videos
