Variety has reported that "20 Good Years," a pilot of a new television show starring John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor, has been picked up by NBC.

Written by Michael Leeson, the pilot featured Glengarry Glen Ross and "Arrested Development" star Tambor and Tony Award-winner Lithgow as "fiftysomething men who realize they want to change their ways and make the most out of the next 20 years of their lives."

Leeson will serve as executive producer along with Tom Werner, Eric Gold, Jimmy Miller, Mike Clements and Marsh McCall.

In addition to Glengarry Glen Ross, Tambor appeared on Broadway in the original production of Sly Fox. He garnered two Emmy nominations for his work as the imprisoned patriarch George Bluth Sr. on "Arrested Development" and earned an additional four Emmy nods for his work on "The Larry Sanders Show." He has appeared in over a hundred other TV shows and movies.

Lithgow, who received a Tony nomination for his performance in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, has appeared on Broadway in over 20 shows. A Tony Award-winner for The Changing Room and Sweet Smell of Success, his credits include The Retreat from Moscow, M. Butterfly, Requiem for a Heavyweight and Beyond Therapy. He is also an accomplished film and TV actor who is often recognized for his stint on "Third Rock from the Sun."
