Five time Emmy and Tony Award winner John Larroquette (Night Court, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Gore Vidal's The Best Man) appears alongside Matt Lutz (A Walk to Remember and Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde) and Autumn Hurlbert (Broadway's Legally Blonde and MTV's Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods) in the multiple-award winning short musical comedy film Sudden Death!
Sudden Death! has won more than fifty awards at more than eighty film festivals internationally. The nineteen minute-long film is now streaming in its entirety on YouTube and on the film's official website at www.suddendeaththemovie.com.
Billed as "Finally - a musical where everyone dies," Sudden Death! is set in Los Angeles where the city "...has been overtaken by a virus known as Sudden Death Syndrome, a disease that causes it's victims to die suddenly and has only one symptom... spontaneously breaking into well-choreographed song and dance."
Sudden Death! is the brainchild of writer/director Adam Hall, and has played to acclaim at festivals worldwide, including the Cleveland International Film Festival, St. Louis International Film Festival, Savannah International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Hollywood Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Fest & Asia, Shanghai International Film Festival, Beijing International Film Festival, Chicago Comedy Film Festival, LA Comedy Film Festival, and many more. It has received multiple awards for Best Short, Best Comedy, Best Director, Best Music, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Choreography.
Sudden Death! also features performances by Doug Jones (Hellboy & Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, Pan's Labyrinth) and Mark Christopher Lawrence (Chuck, Terminator 2: Judgment Day). Songs were composed by Kahle McCann and Kenny Wood. It was produced by Melanie Hall and A. Nick Jones.
