Joe's Pub Features Lilli Cooper, 8/16

Lilli Cooper, an original cast member of SPRING AWAKENING will be welcoming her brothers Alex and Eddie Cooper for her Joe's Pub Debut, 'Lilli Cooper and the Cooper Clan: Up Till Now,' on August 16 at 9:30 p.m.

Reveling in music that has shaped them into who they are today and the paths that their careers have taken in finding years of celebrated work the trio now comes together to sing the music styling of popular jazz, blues, and funk music. Music will include pieces by George Gershwin, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and many others. Guest appearances by fellow Broadway alums include Emma Hutton (SPRING AWAKENING and NEXT TO NORMAL Touring Production) and Zachary James (SOUTH PACIFIC and ADDAMS FAMILY).

Born and bred New Yorker's, these siblings were raised in the world of entertainment by their father Chuck Cooper (Tony award-winner for THE LIFE). After SPRING AWAKENING Lilli has been attending college at Vassar. This winter, Lilli worked in South African townships teaching with the organization Broadway in South Africa. Eddie Cooper recently worked with the Metropolis Opera Project and Alex Cooper has continued to find acclaim as a self trained guitarist, getting the opportunity to perform at notable venues such as Birdland and the Metropolitan Room.
