Joel McHale is one of the busiest actors in the business right now. The Emmy-nominated comedian makes a stop at the State Theatre tonight, October 9.

Show time is 8:00 PM. Tickets are $65 (Gold Circle)/ $58/$47 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. This show is for mature audiences only.

McHale currently stars on the hit comedy series "Community," which is on Yahoo for its sixth season after five seasons on NBC. His portrayal of Jeff Winger has garnered critical acclaim, including nominations for The Critic's Choice television Awards and the TV Guide Awards, of which he was victorious.

In 2014, McHale starred as Robin Williams' son in A Merry Friggin' Christmas and was seen in the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced supernatural thriller Deliver Us From Evil. He also appeared in the Warner Bros' romantic comedy Blended alongside Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. His additional film credits include Seth MacFarlane's comedy smash TED, What's Your Number?, The Big Year, Spy Kids: All The Time in The World, and The Informant.

In addition, Joel McHale continues to satirize pop culture and current events each week on E!'s "The Soup," a show that was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2014. His quick wit and sharp comedic timing have made the show a pop culture phenomenon and have led to his 2013 spin-off series, "The Soup Investigates." McHale also performs his stand-up act around the country to sold-out audiences.

E! recently picked up an unscripted pop culture comedy show from McHale called "The Comment Section". The unscripted internet- inspired comedy explores the biggest stories of the week and the outrageous comments made about them on social media.

This show is for mature audiences only.
