Jo Koy to Perform at Fox Theater, 5/17

Comix At Foxwoods will host standup star, Jo Koy, for a one-night-only performance on Saturday, May 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are currently available via presale through Comix and Ticketmaster. Regular sale will begin tomorrow, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased in advance for $30, $45 and $60. This show is for mature audiences only.

As one of the most recognized and sought-after comedians on the standup scene today, Koy has packed theaters all over the world and can be seen as a regular contributor to the hit show, Chelsea Lately. In 2013, he joined the number one downloaded podcast, The Adam Carolla Show, as a regular contributor and has emerged as one of the show's most popular guests.

Koy has hosted Gotham Comedy Live and appeared on various VH1 I Love series, as well as The Joy Behar Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, and Jamie Foxx: Laughapalooza. A single father, he was inspired by his son and began working on his first Comedy Central special Don't Make Him Angry, which aired in January 2009 to rave reviews from both critics and comedy fans alike. His much-anticipated second Comedy Central special, Lights Out, aired in October 2012, and launched him into the ranks of the comedy elite.
