"I'm excited to be joining President Susan Schulman's executive leadership team as Treasurer," said Michael Wilson. "After participating on a number of committees and initiatives -- most especially co-chairing the recent Broadway Negotiation Committee -- I've become aware of the strong advocacy our union needs right now, and feel a renewed commitment to help advance the ways in which SDC serves and supports its Membership. Member participation is key to our continued growth and success, and the SDC community of peers is unparalleled. Finally, I look forward to working closely with SDC's incredible staff, led by the indefatigable Laura Penn."
The 2015 Nominating Committee was chaired by Pamela Berlin and included Mark Brokaw, Marcia Milgrom Dodge, Donna Drake, Erica Gould, JoAnne Hunter, Meredith McDonough, Shaun Peknic, Seret Scott, Leigh Silverman, Casey Stangl, Jonathan Warman, Sturgis Warner, and Chay Yew. "SDC is governed by an impressive group of professional directors and choreographers who care deeply about the union and its place in the industry. We welcome our new Board Members and look forward to a new year of precise and thoughtful stewardship."
