Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Klein, Jim Gaffigan & More Set for 8th Annual Laugh For Sight NYC Comedy Event Today

The 8th Annual Laugh For Sight NYC All-Star Comedy Benefit, hosted by WFAN's "Boomer & Carton In the Morning's" Craig Carton, takes place tonight, October 28th at 7:00p.m. at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.Jim Gaffigan and Sue Costello will be joining, Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Klein, Hiram Kasten, and Brian Fischler.

Laugh For Sight is a non-profit organization focusing on improving public awareness and raising funds for Retinal Degenerative Eye Disease research. Founded in 2004 by stand-up comedian Brian Fischler, Laugh For Sight is the premiere comedy event for Retinal Degenerative Eye Disease research that compiles a lineup of "all-star" comedians that audiences usually never get to see together on stage or under one roof.

Fischler, who was diagnosed with the disease at age 12 and has been visually impaired since his late 20's, began the organization 8 years ago to raise awareness about the disease, which affects 1 in 3000 people. "It continues to blow my mind the generosity of the comedy world and all of the talented performers who continue to donate their time to Laugh For Sight, and help us strive towards a cure for retinal degenerative eye diseases", says Fischler.

Previous at Laugh For Sight events include Robert Klein, Steven Wright, Sarah Silverman, Lewis Black, Jenna Elfman, Kevin Pollak, Kevin Nealon, Colin Quinn, Jim Gaffigan, Pablo Francisco, Dave Attell, Jim Norton, Bianca Kajlich, John Oliver, Paul Rodriguez, Greg Proops, Harland Williams, and many more.

The event begins at 7:00 p.m. with a silent auction and cocktail reception, followed promptly by the live stand-up comedy show at 8:30p.m. The Gotham Comedy Club is located at 208 W 23rd St (between 7th and 8th Avenues).
