Off the Boat Productions presents a by-invitation-only reading of the screenplay "Curvalicious" on June 16th at Chelsea Art Museum.

Written by Florina Rodov and directed by Caitlin Moon, the reading boasts the talents of Carly Jibson, Felicity La Fortune and Seth Kirschner.

Jibson stars as Pepper in Cry-Baby and previously played Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray.  Felicity La Fortune's Broadway credits include The Coast of Utopia and The Light in the Piazza.  She is familiar to television audiences for her work on All My Children and Ryan's Hope, as well as for appearances on Sopranos and Sex and the City.  Seth Kirschner stars as Brooke Shields' quirky assistant Josh on the NBC series Lipstick Jungle.  His theater credits include David Marshall Grant's Current Events at MTC opposite Christine Ebersole and John Gallagher Jr.

Caitlin Moon was assistant director to Jack O'Brien on The Coast of Utopia trilogy at Lincoln Center.   She is helming Tio Pepe for SPF this summer.

Florina Rodov is an up and coming writer/producer who is developing a number  of youth driven projects through her company Off the Boat Productions.  She is a graduate of Columbia University.  She produces the reading with Kristen Carter, a writer for BET's Black Carpet.  Erica Jensen of Calleri Casting handles casting duties.

Curvalicious is a comedy about a spirited high schooler who takes on the fashion industry to become the world's first plus-sized teen supermodel.   It is billed as Ugly Betty meets Zoolander, and is a heart-warming story with a positive message for teenage girls.

The reading is the first in an as-yet-untitled series founded by Rodov and Carter to bring young writers' work to the attention of the entertainment industry.  Their focus is to present commercial comedies and dramas that can become studio movies.
