WAITRESS: THE MUSICAL is popping fresh!

The screen-to-stage adaptation of the adorable indie comedy WAITRESS by pop superstar Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson is preparing for its premiere production in August at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the production shared a look inside rehearsals kicking off this week as part of a new social media post.

The official Facebook page posted a series of photos this week featuring star Jessie Mueller along with cast-mates Keala Settle and Jeanna De Waal Page donning custom-made aprons highlighting their character names as employees of Joe's Diner in the show and preparing pies at the real-life Neighborhood Cooking With Candy Gold.

In the photos, Mueller dons an apron labelled Jenna, while Settle is Becky and Page is Dawn.

Additionally, a photo of Mueller's W-emblazoned pie named "The I Can't Waitress Blackberry Pie" is available to view, as well.

Neighborhood Cooking With Candy Gold is described as such: "Think the best meals come from fancy restaurants in Boston, New York, or Paris? Not so. They come from your very own neighborhood-in kitchens like Candy Gold's! Watch the Newton chef cook up a storm each week with family, friends, and neighbors like Judy Rosenberg (Rosie's Bakery), actress Erica McDermott (Micky Ward's sister in The Fighter), and more. Don't miss the "Brisket Bonanza" episode, featuring Candy's mouthwatering sandwich that made it onto the Cooking Channel. We dare you not to drool!"

Additionally, more information on Neighborhood Cooking With Candy Gold is available at the official Facebook site here and official site here.
