Stage and screen superstar Jessica Lange treated viewers to a spectacularly theatrical cover of David Bowie's classic song "Life On Mars?" on the premiere episode of hit FX horror anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW this week and the single is now available on iTunes.
Creator Ryan Murphy utilized Twitter to share his enthusiasm for the positive social media reaction that the unexpected showstopper received, writing, "Due to popular demand, we will be releasing Jessica Lange's version of LIFE ON MARS on iTunes."
Murphy followed up shortly thereafter, commenting, "Just wait until you see her Lana [Del Rey] cover."

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: FREAK SHOW stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Denis O'Hare, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, Evan Peters and Jaimie Brewer, with new cast members Michael Chiklis, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock and Patti LaBelle joining the ranks for the new season.
