"A child musician signed to Mercury Records at age 13, a Broadway musician at 21, a Playgirl centerfold at age 27, Jesse's star kept rising higher and higher. Jesse suddenly found himself hobnobbing with the likes of Quincy Jones, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Barbra Streisand. Fabergé signed him to launch Brut Records. He took his act from New York to L.A. with his band Jesse Cutler's Angel. United Artists signed him to a three-year record deal. His singles were hitting the Billboard Top 100. But his fame was eclipsed by a combination of choices and fate. Out of the blue United Artists was sold to EMI and cleaned house of all but two artists. Jesse's father, living in Florida, became ill. Jesse made the hard decision to take himself out of the spotlight and move to care for his father," detail press notes.

His book offers some insight from someone who is not a household name but who's been there on the inside as a close observer, who knows firsthand the perils of bad behavior, bad decision-making and the way Hollywood can turn on you.
