The Broadway production of Jersey Boys, the Tony Award winning Best Musical, resumes performances on Thursday, November 29 at the August Wilson Theatre.
Original cast member Michael Longoria takes over the role of Frankie Valli beginning Tuesday, November 27 and Cory Grant has joined the Broadway production to perform the role on Wednesday and Saturday matinees.
Jersey Boys begins a holiday engagement at San Francisco's Curran Theatre tonight. This special return to the bay area will run from November 20 to December 20 only.
The Chicago engagement of Jersey Boys at the LaSalle Bank Theatre broke the box office record for the third time, taking in $1,244,001.62 for the week ending November 25, 2007. The show broke their previous record of $1,143,780.04 for the performance week ending November 18, 2007.
The Costa Mesa engagement took in a total of $1,436,060.00 for the week ending November 25, 2007, breaking Wicked's previous record of $1,424,011. The show continues playing at the Orange County Performing Artscenter through this Saturday, December 1.

Jersey Boys is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. The musical, which won a total of four Tony Awards and continues to set new weekly box office records at the August Wilson Theatre on Broadway, is written by Academy Award winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
The design and production team for Jersey Boys includes Klara Zieglerova (scenic design), Jess Goldstein (costume design), Howell Binkley (winner of the 2006 Tony Award for his lighting design of Jersey Boys), Steve Canyon Kennedy (sound design), Michael Clark (projections design), Charles LaPointe (wig and hair design), Steve Orich (orchestrations) and Ron Melrose (music direction, vocal arrangements and incidental music).
Jersey Boys opened at the August Wilson Theatre on Broadway to critical acclaim on November 6, 2005 and continues to set new weekly box office records, remaining among the five top grossing shows in New York. The show is now playing in Chicago, San Francisco and other cities across the U.S. on a National Tour. Upcoming productions include London, Las Vegas and Toronto.
