Ars Nova will continue the third season of its acclaimed Broadway Spotlight series with a concert by Jersey Boys' Daniel Reichard; he will perform his new concert piece, The Glory Daze, on Monday, December 5 at 8 PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street).

Currently starring as Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys, Reichard (along with the Red Dirt Band from Jersey Boys) will perform his "thoughtful and funny new concert piece The Glory Daze, which explores the humor and consequences of a three-month party binge, revisiting the songs that were listened to ad nauseum," according to press notes. The evening will also include songs from the Public Theater's Radiant Baby in which Reichard played pop artist Keith Haring. Additional direction is by Holly-Anne Ruggiero, the assistant director of Jersey Boys.

Reichard made his New York City debut in Forbidden Broadway: 20th Anniversary Celebration (original cast). Shortly after, he starred in Radiant Baby at The Public Theater (which was directed by George C. Wolfe). He then appeared in The Thing About Men at the Promenade Theatre. Regionally, he played Charlie in the Goodspeed Opera House's Brigadoon and recently workshopped Rachel Sheinkin's Blood Drive at the O'Neill Center. As a concert singer, Reichard has performed in venues throughout the city, including a run of his solo show at NYC's The Firebird Cafe.

Broadway Spotlight brings bright new stars of the Great White Way to the intimate theater at Ars Nova. Curated by Gordon Greenberg, past guests have included Sarah Saltzberg (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Steve Rosen (Monty Python's Spamalot), Joe Cassidy (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Barrett Foa (Avenue Q), and Megan Hilty (Wicked). The series has previously hosted Broadway notables such as Idina Menzel, John Tartaglia, Anthony Rapp, Julia Murney and Billy Porter.
