The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Jersey Boys, produced by Bob Gaudio and recipient of the 2007
Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, celebrates 100 weeks on Billboard's
"Top Cast Albums" chart. For the third consecutive week, the album maintains
the number one position at the top of the chart. Jersey Boys held the top spot for the longest stretch with a
six-week run earlier this year and had a four-week run at number one after
winning the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2006.
Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.
Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, about a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.Tickets to Jersey Boys on Broadway in New York are available by calling Telecharge.com at (212) 239-6200, (800) 432-7250 outside the NY metro area, online at Telecharge.com, and at the August Wilson Theatre box office (245 West 52nd Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue).
