Jerry Zaks, Carolee Carmello, and Patina Miller are confirmed to appear at SISTER ACT: SONGS AND TALK-BACK WITH THE CAST on Tuesday Jan 24th from 12-1 pm at 92YTribeca. Tickets are from $18.

Members of the cast of Sister Act, the high-energy Broadway musical comedy, sing favorite songs and talk about what it’s like to bring to life this inspiring story of sisterhood and friendship. The show, based on the hit film, features an uplifting new score by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors), mixes the sounds of disco, soul, funk and R&B and is directed by four-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks (La Cage aux Folles).

JERRY ZAKS, the director of Sister Act, has directed more than 30 productions in New York. He has received four Tony Awards and been nominated seven times. He's received four Drama Desks, two Outer Critics Circle Awards and an Obie. His credits include Guys and Dolls, Six Degrees of Separation, Lend Me a Tenor, House of Blue Leaves, The Front Page, A Funny Thing…Forum, Smokey Joe’s Café, Anything Goes, La Cage aux Folles, Little Shop of Horrors, The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Foreigner, A Bronx Tale, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, The Addams Family, and the original production of Assassins.

CAROLEE CARMELLO (Mother Superior) has appeared on Broadway as Alice Beineke in The Addams Family; Donna in Mamma Mia!; Gabrielle in Lestat (Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League nominations); Ms. Pennywise in Urinetown; Kate in Kiss Me, Kate; Marguerite in The Scarlet Pimpernel; Abigail in 1776; Lucille Frank in Parade (Tony nomination, Drama Desk Award); Oolie in City of Angels; and Cordelia in Falsettos.

PATINA MILLER is making her Broadway debut as Sister Act’s Deloris Van Cartier. She originated the role in the West End production of Sister Act, earning an Olivier Award nomination and a WhatsOnStage.com Theatregoers' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Off-Broadway, she has appeared in Hair and Romantic Poetry.
