It will be a night of scandalous comedy hosted by Jenny McCarthy when she brings her Dirty, Sexy, Funny show -- the ultimate "Girls Night Out" -- to The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, December 6, at 8 p.m.

The show features an eclectic mix of hilarious women -- Tammy Pescatelli, Lynne Koplitz, Paula Bel and April Macie - who will shed some much-needed light on what it's really like to be a woman. This is not your typical comedy show! With the help of the all-female slate of stand-up comedians, Jenny McCarthy takes an outrageous look at life as a contemporary woman! Bissell House (378 Main St., Ridgefield) is offering a free glass of house wine or draught beer with dinner the night of this show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event is part of the Clark Construction Comedy Series.

Jenny explains that her concept for a hilarious night includes "vignettes about embarrassing things", video skits and performances that live up to their billing of "Dirty Sexy Funny" entertainment. Jenny McCarthy's honesty, humility and humor have enabled her to transcend the boundaries of her roles as comedian, actress, host, best-selling author and influential activist in the world of healing and preventing autism. When she first made public her own experience with her son Evan's diagnosis and subsequent recovery from autism, her unique ability to articulate the unspoken words of thousands of mothers and fathers across the world was recognized immediately.

For tickets ($85 Gold Circle Meet & Greet; $60.00 plus $1 added to support National Charity League, Ridgefield Chapter), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
