A Lasting Impression is a new musical with book by Emily Kaczmarek and music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak that explores the relationships between Kali and Simone, who are artists, sisters, and (lately) roommates. They live, work, and navigate their mother's chronic illness in close quarters and relative peace - until they meet Jo, a journalist wrestling with the cost of her recent assignment in Syria. As each sister becomes romantically and creatively entangled with Jo, all 3 women are forced to examine how they relate to their art, the world, and to one another. A Lasting Impression is a musical about love between artists, love between sisters, and the power of storytelling in all its forms.

Jennifer Damiano will play the role of Kali. Broadway: Next to Normal (Tony Award nomination), Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark (original Mary Jane Watson), Spring Awakening (original cast, age 15), and most recently originated the role of Jean in American Psycho. Off-Broadway: Venice at The Public Theater, Next to Normal at Second Stage and Arena Stage in DC (Helen Hayes Award nomination). Film: American Dresser, B-Side, Outliving Emily, as well as recent Outfest winner, 4th Man Out. Solo concert debut coming in late July at Feinstein's/54 below.

Ciara Renée will play Jo, Kali and Simone's neighbor who has returned from working in Syria as a journalist. Ciara most recently starred in DC's Legends of Tomorrow as Hawkgirl. She has also performed in the Broadway revival of Pippin as Leading Player, in Big Fish on Broadway as The Witch, and in Papermill Playhouse's production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame as Esmeralda. Previously she has been in several Broadway workshops including Lin Manuel Miranda's Hamilton, and Bull Durham.

Meghann Fahy will play opposite Damiano as her sister Simone, a painter turned teacher who recently has become caretaker to Kali and their ailing mother. Meghann can next be seen in John Madden's upcoming feature film, "Miss Sloane." Meghann will play the role of Clara alongside Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, and Sam Waterston. Most recently, Meghann appeared on "Blue Bloods" on CBS and "The Jim Gaffigan Show" on TV Land. She previously had recurring arcs on "Chicago Fire" on NBC, "Political Animals" on USA and "Necessary Roughness" on USA. She made her Broadway debut as Natalie in Michael Grief's "Next to Normal."
