On Thursday, May 5, 2016, Marymount Manhattan College (MMC) will host the 2016 Annual Scholarship Benefit at the Mandarin Oriental, New York; a very special evening honoring Paul Polizzotto, Founder and President of CBS EcoMedia Inc.

The Annual Scholarship Benefit honors individuals that embody the College's mission of leadership, dedication to excellence, and service to society. As the College's largest fundraising event of the year, the benefit will raise need-based scholarship funds to help students afford the Marymount Manhattan College education they desire. Along with honoring a well-deserved entrepreneur, there is an added feeling of excitement in the air as Marymount Manhattan College celebrates its 80th year.

Paul Polizzotto has spent his life effecting socially responsible change through innovative business practices. He is the force behind EcoMedia, the company he founded in 2002 to realize his vision: To harness the power of advertising and channel it into tangible social change. As company CEO, Paul developed and oversees the EducationAd?, WellnessAd?, and EcoAd advertising programs, in addition to the innovative digital giving platform Viewers to Volunteers (V2V). His latest initiative, Volunteering with the Stars (VWTS), leverages the popularity and social media reach of CBS talent to encourage fans and viewers to join in the shared goal of giving back.

Marymount Manhattan has found a dedicated partner within Polizzotto, who has already shown great support and enthusiasm for the College. He recently visited campus in April to connect with students, who were inspired by his motivated presentation to the community titled "Creating Impact: The Successes and Challenges of a Social Entrepreneur."

At the Annual Scholarship Benefit, guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, a live auction, and special performances by Broadway stars, Marymount Manhattan College alumni, and current students. All proceeds from the benefit will support student scholarships. For more information on the benefit, including honoree Paul Polizzotto, visit www.mmm.edu/benefit.
