New York Gospel vocalist Jenifer Thigpen and the multicultural ensemble Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) will bring their musical talents to Trinity Grace Westside for a special Christmas service this Sunday December 7th, 2014. The congregation meets at the Alfred E. Smith School Auditorium located at 163 West 97th Street, New York, NY 10025. The service will begin at 10a. All New Yorkers are invited to join them at this special Holiday Service as they uplift their souls though music in this holiday season.

As the current interim director of worship at Trinity Grace Westside, Jenifer Thigpen has a passion for creating meaningful relationships through service within her local community. Thigpen organized this Christmas service featuring a live musical performance by BIV as a way to connect her devotion to service with her dedication to strengthening and unifying New York with the transcendent power of music.

Thigpen has shared the stage with the world-renowned Walt Disney World acapella group and artists such as CeCe Winans, Roberta Flack, Kirk Franklin and Sandi Patty. She has recorded multiple national commercial spots for Walt Disney World and served as lead vocalist for major release movie trailers. Currently, Thigpen is joining more than 50 other members of BIV to record the choir's newest album, "Great Joy II: Around the World!"

In addition to Thigpen, BIV is made up of various entertainers on Broadway in shows such as The Lion King, Motown The Musical, The Book of Mormon and Wicked . Performing at many events throughout New York this holiday season, this multi-ethnic, multi-denominational ensemble aims to spread their mission of hope, inspiration and transformation. Founded by Grammy Award nominee, Michael McElroy, BIV strives to use the power of music in rousing live concerts, benefits and a dynamic outreach program for children and teens. Through their outreach, they hope to inspire creativity and promote a message of tolerance, understanding and respect for cultural diversity through the arts. "No one can ever take away your voice. With each performance we are reminding New Yorkers of the power in their voices", says BIV vocalist Schele Williams-Kleinberger.
