The live event,
24 Hour: A Site for Sore Eyes, runs non-stop for 24 hours Monday, November 23rd at 6:00 p.m. through Tuesday, November 24th at 6:00 p.m. in Second City's e.t.c. Theater. Entry is $20 as long as seats are available.
"Second City is thrilled to welcome home many of our most beloved alumni to raise cash for a number of struggling families. This gifted group has never performed on the same stage all together. And for the first time, we're auctioning off once-in-a-lifetime experiences on Charitybuzz.com. Wouldn't you rather give someone SNL tickets for Christmas than just another thing that sits in a drawer? The money you spend goes directly to a real family in need. It's a really special event," said 24 Hour creator and curator Heather Whinna.
"This is one of my favorite events of the year," states
Andrew Alexander, CEO/Executive Producer of The Second City, Inc. "Its a great cause and brings so many of our alums and old friends back to the theater to kick off the holiday season."
The talent roster includes alumni all-stars
Vanessa Bayer, Edgar Blackmon,
Aidy Bryant, Kevin Dorff, Shelly Gossman, TJ Jagodowski,
Kate James,
Brendan Jennings, Jerry Minor, Brad Morris, Mike O'Brien, Punam Patel, Chris Redd,

Among musicians set to perform live are Jeff Tweedy, Kim Deal, A.C. Newman, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Robbie Fulks,
