Jeff Lederer's Little (i) Music presents a double CD "Sneak Peek" pre-release event at the Cornelia St. Café tonight, June 5, 2013.

8:30pm- Mary LaRose "Reincarnation" will perform music from their new CD featuring Mary's vocals with string quartet and bass and special guests Matt Wilson (drums) and Kirk Knuffke (cornet) and Jeff Lederer (clarinet). The music includes Mary's own signature vocal versions of the compositions of Ornette Coleman, Eric Dolphy, Charles Mingus and others. "Reincarnation" is Mary's 5th release as a leader.

10:00pm - Jeff Lederer's "Swing n' Dix" is a new band that features Jeff on clarinet and saxophone with frequent collaborators Kirk Knuffke (cornet) and Matt Wilson (drums) along with Tuba great Bob Stewart - the band plays chestnuts and moldy figs from the Dixieland and Swing eras, along with new compositions by members of the band.
