Jasper Redd's new stand-up special Jazz Talk will be released by New Wave Dynamics on CD and digital audio today, March 11, 2013.

Straight from the Folly Theater in Kansas City, polyrhythmic comedian, Jasper Redd breaks it down with a set that's sure to blow your top in Jazz Talk. Jasper uses his traditional cadences to reach a broader audience and vows to give the 'truth to the youth' when it comes to fast food, while encouraging everyone to stay socially lubricated. His blunt stature when discussing interracial relationships and funerals keeps the audience rolling in the aisles.

Beginning his comedy career in San Francisco, he has since performed at colleges and comedy clubs all over the United States. Redd has appeared on many shows including Last Call with Carson Daly, Lopez Tonight, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Tosh.0, which led to a nationwide tour supporting Daniel Tosh on his Tosh Tour Twenty Ten. Jasper Redd was named one of 2005's standout New Faces at Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival, and has been a performer featured in the "Comedians of Comedy" U.S. tour with Maria Bamford, Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt and Zach Galifianakis. Just last year he toured colleges all over the United States as the host of American Eagle's Campus Comedy Challenge and currently is the Co-host of The Goosedown on Maximumfun.com.
