Multi-award-winning composer/lyricist and acclaimed concert performer Jason Robert Brown is set to headline a new intimate solo show along with backing band Caucasian Rhythm Kings next month at NYC concert venue SubCulture according to a new listing and a second performance has just been added.
The official description of the event is as follows: "JASON ROBERT BROWN is the ultimate multi-hyphenate - an equally skilled composer, lyricist, conductor, arranger, orchestrator, director and performer - best known for his dazzling scores to several of the most renowned musicals of his generation, including the recently revived "The Last Five Years", his debut song cycle "Songs for a New World", and the seminal "Parade", for which he won the 1999 Tony Award for Best Score."
Of note, Brown can be expected to perform selections for his recent multi-Tony Award-winning Broadway musical THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, as well as the forthcoming HONEYMOON IN VEGAS and more as part of the evening's entertainment.
