Mo Brady and Nikka Graff Lanzarone have announced the release of The Ensemblist's 14th episode: "Audition Stories."

For their first episode of 2014, The Ensemblist interviewed previous guests about their most memorable audition experiences. The result is a hilarious, heartwarming episode featuring interviews with Broadway actors Candi Boyd, Lisa Gajda, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Reed Kelly, Denis Lambert, Ellyn Marie Marsh, Geoff Packard, Jennifer Sanchez, Michaeljon Slinger, Sarrah Strimel and Jason Michael Snow, who also guest hosts the episode with Lanzarone.

Snow, an original cast member of The Book of Mormon, shares his story of the many workshops that led to being cast in the show's Broadway company. He also tells listeners two different stories of hilarious auditions: a touching (and successful) story from his Broadway debut, South Pacific, and a priceless audition for Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark.

In the "Audition Stories" episode, Boyd and Slinger describe the exhaustive process of being cast in Jersey Boys and Billy Elliot, respectively. Sanchez tells a sweet story of the most unlikely place she was in when she got the call telling her she would be making her Broadway debut. Gajda, Ghebremichael, Marsh and Strimel each share hilariously embarrassing stories of auditions gone very, very wrong.

New episodes of The Ensemblist can be downloaded every two weeks through the iTunes store by searching for "The Ensemblist." Episodes can be also be streamed on the Stitcher Radio app and downloaded directly from Podbean at theensemblist.podbean.com.

Upcoming episodes will feature an interview with two married couples who also work as performers on Broadway, and a look into what it means to be a dance captain for a Broadway show.

The website, TheEnsemblist.com, features stories, Q&As, and blog posts from those in the know about life as an ensemblist, plus cool stuff they can't NOT share. You can also follow @theensemblist on Twitter and Like them at facebook.com/theensemblist.
