"Japan Block Fair" under the slogan of "Feel Japan - Live & Vibe!" will take place on Sunday, June 13 between 85th and 86th Streets on Broadway from 11-6pm. Visitors can experience a wide range of Japanese food and products, from traditional one-of-a-kind Japanese cuisine to super modern products. From the main stage, the vibrations of Japanese cosplay (costume play) performance and games, exotic dance, punk rock bands, kids' drums, and more activities - all free of charge - will electrify your Japanese spirit.

The fair's main attraction is dance, song, and games presented by Reni, who is an icon of Japanese cosplay performer (www.renireni.com). Reni specializes in Moe style performance, a genre that emphasizes the cute look of Japanese pop-culture with the hip appeal of Japanese animation. She will appear on the stage twice with pretty maid-costumes and take the audience to the fun and authentic Japanese pop-world. Other performers include Uzuhi, energetic punk rock band (http://www.uzuhi.com/), exciting traditional Japanese dance group (http://www.10tecomai.com/), kids' drum group and more.

A variety of Japanese food is also a fun part of the fair. From authentic noodle and curry to neo-Japanese cuisine and delicious sweets, reasonably-priced healthy Japanese food will satisfy your appetite. The fair takes place rain or shine.
