The 2008 Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights, welcomes back original cast member Janet Dacal as "Nina" on Friday, February 19, 2010, and welcomes David Del Rio as "Sonny" on Monday, February 15, 2010.

Mandy Gonzalez and Tony Award nominee Robin de Jesús both starred in the 2007 Off-Broadway engagement of In The Heights, and have been with the Broadway production since the first performance at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street). Mandy Gonzalez's final performance will be Sunday, January 31 at 7pm, and Robin de Jesús' final performance will be Sunday, February 14 at 7pm. From February 1 through February 18 the role of "Nina" will alternate between understudies Nina Lafarga, Courtney Reed and Gabrielle Ruiz.

David Del Rio (Sonny) makes his Broadway debut in In the Heights. A recent graduate of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, School of Film & Television, he is best known for his starring role in Nickelodeon's "The Troop." Other TV: "Law and Order: SVU." Regional: Cosi, Rumors and as "John Merrick" in The Elephant Man.

Janet Dacal (Nina) returns to In The Heights having originated the role of Carla in the original Off-Broadway and Broadway productions. She most recently starred in the world premiere of Frank Wildhorn's Wonderland (Tampa). Broadway: Good Vibrations. Off-Broadway: Byzantium. Regional: Señor Discretion Himself (Arena Stage); Five Course Love (Carbonell nomination); Four Guys Named Jose; Annie and others (Actors' Playhouse). Recordings and tours for various Grammy-winning artists, including Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada and Luis Enrique.

As of February 19, 2010 In The Heights will star Corbin Bleu, Andréa Burns, Janet Dacal, David Del Rio, Marcy Harriell, Christopher Jackson, Priscilla Lopez, Olga Merediz, Rick Négron, Courtney Reed and William B. Wingfield leading a cast of 28 that features Tony Chiroldes, Dwayne Clark, Rosie Lani Fiedelman, Ruben Flores, Marcus Paul James, Nina Lafarga, Jennifer Locke, Doreen Montalvo, Gabrielle Ruiz, Luis Salgado, Kevin Santos, Rickey Tripp, Michael Balderrama, Blanca Camacho, Stephanie Klemons, Allison Thomas Lee, Alejandra Reyes, Jon Rua and Marcos Santana.

In The Heights is the Broadway musical known for its hip-hop and Latin-infused music, pulsing beats, and explosive dance. The show covers two days in the life of the residents of Washington Heights, where families are fighting to make a new home in a neighborhood that is threatening to push them out.

Beginning its third year at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, In The Heights is the winner of four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Lin-Manuel Miranda won the 2008 Tony for Best Music and Lyrics, Andy Blankenbuehler won the 2008 Tony for Best Choreography, and Alex Lacamoire and Bill Sherman won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Orchestrations. In The Heights began previews on Broadway Thursday, February 14, 2008, after a six-month award-winning 2007 Off-Broadway run. The musical opened on Broadway to critical acclaim Sunday, March 9, 2008, recouped its $10 million investment in 10 months (twice breaking the house record at the Richard Rodgers Theatre). With a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes and conceived by Lin-Manuel Miranda, In The Heights is directed by Thomas Kail. Alex Lacamoire is music director and music arrangements are by Alex Lacamoire and Bill Sherman. In The Heights features a scenic design by Anna Louizos, costumes by Paul Tazewell, lighting by Howell Binkley and sound by Acme Sound Partners. In The Heights is produced by Kevin McCollum, Jeffrey Seller, Jill Furman, Sander Jacobs, Robyn Goodman/Walt Grossman, Peter Fine and Sonny Everett/Mike Skipper with associate producers Ruth Hendel and Harold Newman.

In The Heights won the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Original Cast Album. The first national tour of In The Heights launched in October 2009 in Tampa, FL and is currently touring the country. In 2009, In the Heights: Chasing Broadway Dreams premiered on Great Performances on PBS HD. IMAGEM MUSIC, the Number #1 independent music publisher in the world, has acquired the worldwide stock and amateur rights to In The Heights. In November, 2008, Universal Pictures acquired the rights to produce a feature film based on In The Heights.
