We've got light flurries at the moment here in New York City and there's a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 5pm tonight, but ALL Broadway shows are still on for tonight, Friday, January 7, 2011.

Snow rarely effects Broadway shows, and the 'great blizzard' of December 26, 2010 was no exception either.

For those driving in, here's the official weather warning - drive safe!

THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON.

* LOCATIONS... NEW YORK CITY AND NASSAU COUNTY NEW YORK.

* HAZARDS... SNOW... WHICH MAY BE BRIEFLY HEAVY INTO EARLY AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATIONS... 2 TO 3 INCHES.

* VISIBILITIES... ONE HALF MILE OR LESS IN MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW... OTHERWISE AROUND 1 MILE.

* TIMING... BANDS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW OVER THE AREA WILL MOVE SLOWLY NORTHEAST THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL TAPER OFF TO FLURRIES BY LATE AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES... AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
