musMAC Award-winning cabaret star Jamie DeRoy will host the season finale of her Jamie DeRoy & friends variety show on Thursday, June 30th at 7:30 PM at the Encore; a bevy of stars will also appear on the show, which will be directed by Barry Kleinbort with musical direction by Lanny Meyers.
Jamie DeRoy & friends "has been thrilling New York City audiences for the
past 15 years and serves as the basis for deRoy's award-winning cable television
show, which spotlights a wide variety of well-known entertainers and newcomers
lighting up the theater, musical theater, and comedy worlds," according to a press article. For the June 30th show, deRoy has lined up Maya Days(Aida, Jesus Christ Superstar), Trent Armand Kendall(Bat
Boy, Pearlie), singer Lorna Dallas, singer/songwriter Mary Liz
McNamara,classical pianist Meral Guneyman, violinist Todd
Sullivan, and comedians Sidney Myerand Jane Stroll. In addition,deRoy will croon her song "Daddy's Girl,"which was recorded by Heather MacRae, as well as "Another 100 Lyrics," a new parody of Sondheim's "Another 100 People".deRoy is a celebrated comedienne, singer, cabaret
performer, actress, producer, and talk show host. The winner of eight MAC Awards, she has released a number of recordings. Her first
CD, Jamie DeRoy & friends: The Child in Me, Jamie DeRoy.jpg" />Volume 1, won the 2000
MAC Award for Recording of the Year. Jamie DeRoy & friends: Volume
2: The Child in Me was released in November 2000 and featured
Tony winners Faith Prince and Roger Bart. Jamie DeRoy & friends: 'Tis the
Season, Volume 3, winner of the 2002 MAC Award for Recording of the Year,
became an instant holiday favorite upon its release in December 2001. Her fourth
album, Jamie DeRoy & friends: Family, was released in December
2002.Her fifth CD, Jamie DeRoy & friends: Animal Tracks, won
the 2004 MAC Award for Recording of the Year, with proceeds benefiting The
Humane Society. Her most recent CD, Jamie DeRoy & friends: When I Grow
Up, caters to kids ages 5 – 95. All six Jamie DeRoy & friends CDs

performing career, deRoy is also an established producer whose credits include
